Hi, whenever I ride my halfbike, I get blisters inside my hands and on the side of my thumbs. Are there any special gloves you can recommend to protect me. The gloves I am using right now, don't do it. Looking forward to your kind help Frank

Any suggestions for swapping out the standard tyres for something that can handle puddles, mud and slippery tarmac? I've found the front tyre spins / doesn't get traction when pressure is applied to the pedals. Looking at 18 X 2.125 mountain bike tyres. Better grip and a little wider.

Hi Halfbikers, just got my Halfbike 3 two weeks ago. Now I could ride it in a straight line & turn at a corner. However, I still could not find any effective ways in performing a narrow U-turn. Would anyone here enlighten me with some tips and advices? Thanks!

I'm a few months in and very much enjoying the Halfbike. I am wondering what tips people have for conditioning for longer rides? Probably the biggest barrier is that I'm finding that my quads get fatigued faster than other muscles. Thanks in advance for any help and happy halfbiking!

Hi, I have been riding for 6 months now, I quite good at it :-); however I cant figure out how to get the most of my gear box. I am just using 1 gear. (3rd). Can anyone give men some tips?

Lately I've been finding myself using more and more only one hand while riding the halfbike. I think of it like surfing, using my other hand for balancing. This allows me to distribute my weight for sharper turns and is also it's really fun. One downside from this is that you have to use your right hand for steering (may be a problem for lefties) to be able to press the break if needed. If you feel confident enough with your halfbiking give it a try, you won't be disappointed :).

I just found a much more ergonomic and powerful technique of shifting my grip. When my body is upright I have my thumbs wrapped under the handlebar for a powerful grip. When leaned forward and my hips are close to the handlebar (for ascents and accelerations) I bring my thumbs up and rest them on the top of the handlebar (pointing at each other). It's a subtle change but it feels much better. And as a general point it took me a while to figure out how to orient my right hand for firm grip and effective braking. I've found the gripping the handlebar with my right thumb and pointer finger while using the other three digits to squeeze the brake lever keeps me firmly on the handlebar with enough leverage on the brake lever to control the brakes (and without those three fingers on the handlebar I can squeeze the brake lever all the way in without running into those fingers; very important for strong braking).

When making turns should I be leaning in the turns or push the handlebar to the side on the direction I want to go and counterbalance the bike. I want to start off right
