My Halfbike MODs

Hi friends/halfbikers, Been riding my awesome halfbike for a couple months and still loving it. I enjoy watching people's faces when they see me ride past them. Sometimes I will even turn around and ask them if they know about this and if they want to try it. Nobody realizes that the front wheel is fixed and when i show it to them - they ask "HOW DO YOU STEER???". It gets better from there. Recently, I MODified my bike, i.e. added a couple things to let me stay out there longer. I added a water bottle, a funky horn, a quick-dry cloth, a dangling info card and a tool kit. The horn is my favorite - it draws a lot of attention and makes weird loud funky honks. A real crowd pleaser. OK. Gotta run/ride. Talk soon. Hope you enjoy your Halfbike. Cheers

Hi Joel. I will take a couple pics tonight and drop them here. It’s nothing earth-shattering and I used sturdy zip ties but it was tricky to position them on a Halfbike without interfering with the movement and the cool Halfbike look. So... stay tuned. Here’s one closeup I already had in my phone...

Oh... one more thing. I learned how to push the horn bulb with my knee without dropping the hand off the handle bar. :-)

... the red pouch under the water bottle is a small size bicycle pouch with a zipper (red looks great on my Halfbike) and I stuffed it with a small door stopper to have the bike stay next to me when I am resting, a few business cards, a tiny dry-cloth, my medical insurance card and a laminated important phone number card, gum, etc.

Fantastic! That looks great. As a glanced at the horn I wondered about taking your hand off the handlebar and reaching down but it's pretty fun that you've learned how to do it with your knee. Very cool. I really like your small red bicycle pouch. If you don't mind sharing which brand it is (or a link to it online) I might get one, too. Cheers!

Thank you, Joel The pouch fits perfectly into the split part of the front of Halfbike. It is EVOC brand (small) and I bought it at REI store in the bicycle department. The horn came from Walmart - I wanted a funky horn, not plain vanilla. I have since attached a medium-size carabiner (just zip tied it) and it lets me hang my hat while I am wearing a helmet and then hang a helmet while I am resting and wearing my hat. Cheers
