Is the Halfbike foldable?

Yes, you can fold it in a matter of seconds. The handlebar drops backwards, making the bike quite compact. Once folded, it can be effortlessly taken on board public transport or put in the trunk of a small car even.

Is there a way to retrofit the Kickstarter folding mechanism to be as easy as it looks above?

The quick release levers are not compatible with the Halfbike 2, due to some geometry changes.
