any other Halfbikers in Toronto or the GTA!? we need a group to share Halfbike hacks, accessories (and their locations of acquirement), what are the best trails and locations to ride, and best ways to ride. Halfbikers Of Toronto Unit!!!

hey Phil. welcome welcome welcome. Congratulations! just keep trying and don’t let it frustrate you cause the other side is amazing. make sure you are riding on leveled road for the first couple times. when i first started i just got the hang of it then went on a bike trail that was i leveled and had car/truck indents along the trail that kept throwing off my balance. it was the hardest ride ever. so i went back to the parking lot and kept doing laps until the bike and i became great friends. lol. (but that was last summer/fall. and i broke my arm so haven’t been able to ride and have to wait until June to go back out. hope i still got it. (it is a bike) [insert your own joke here about how “it’s like riding a bike” lmao]

Lol! Hope the arm heals fast. I got better after 1 hour in a parking lot. I hope the pedals last...scraping them all over ....shouldn't be happening since I am a novice mountain biker. Want to take this puppy on the DVP trail...but I got to be able to get there first. And of course...got to load an image by the tower! #representTDot

Hey Julian/ or Halfbike: Any tips on turning and any knowledge on why gear#2 is highlighted in a different font? Turning left is really difficult for me. I have about 6-7 hours of riding time but do not feel confident to go out on the public street yet and really go anywhere (I'd probably hit someone) and every bump seems to throw me off.

Hey Scott. I just bought mine. When all is done, at least ordering from Toronto. It will be $1000 CDN total. I paid $150 in duties to release the package to me from DHL. That's for a halfbike 3 + bell.

Picked up a Hb2 a few weeks ago. Loving it and taking it everywhere. I am having one small issue after a while I seem to have an issue with the handlebar position always on my left and if I try to balance to bring it back, it’s a hard right... feels almost like a mechanical issue vs. Balance/weight distribution. Thoughts ?

i’m sorry i don’t know why it could be as i have a Halfbike 3 and they are built different than the Halfbike 2. do you know if the previous owner was your weight and height? cause the bikes are made custom to your 1. height, 2. weight, 3. terrain you will be riding in (flatlands, hilly, or both). i agree with Phil. the Halfbike team are amazing and so very helpful with the best customers service i have ever experienced to date.

that’s amazing!! the Halfbike is amazing. i’ve unfortunately missed halfbiking last summer due to a broken arm (unrelated to my beautiful halfbike) so even after my cast was of it was hard to balance when i tried. can’t wait till next summer. we should all find somewhere to do a Halfbike Summer Ride or 8. lol.
