Spoke issue?

I was just cleaning my halfbike and noticed the spokes are slightly curved. Is that normal?

Hi Terry, This is quite normal for the Halfbike, since the spokes are made specifically for the Halfbike + gear-hub combo :)

Has anyone had their front spokes broken within a year of ownership? My front wheel started making noises and a spoke broke. Then I flexed a few with my fingers and eight more spokes broke. So I got the spokes replaced, yet I was wondering if this is an isolated issue or if it's common?
