How can you tell the difference between the 3 sizes

Hi Mick, You'll need to measure the distance from the handlebars to the ground. For example a distance measured at around 110cm should be a size M Hope that helps :)

Also, the only difference between the sizes is the height of the handlebar. All of the sizes are around 6cm apart from each other.

Hi Bo The distance measured from the handlebars to the ground for model M is 110cm. What is the measurement for model L, which is the one I would need. Thanks

Actually I've just noticed what's probably obvioius to everyone else :) ha ha is model L handlebar to ground 116cm ?

Hi Jake, Yes, it should be around 116, but it makes quite a big difference in riding and turning the bike. It all comes down yo your height and weight and how those factors interact with the size of the bike.

Hi. I'm looking to buy a second hand halfbike 2. I'm 169cm tall and weigh about 66kg. What size do I need? How will the person selling it be able to see what size it is and whether the springs are right? (It has apparently hardly been used so the springs should still be ok.) Also I need to stand really upright as I've had previous problems with my shoulder. Should I therefore get a size bigger than expected to ensure that I don't have to bend forward?

Hi Julie, With your height, you'd be great for a Haflbike sized M. He can find the size, by measuring the distance from the ground to the handlebar - at around 110 cm it should be an M, since the difference in sizes is about 6cm apart. The springs are considered a consumable and they do get softer with time, if the person rarely used it they should be Ok. Otherwise, you can order a replacement from our part's shop. It would still be best if you can try it yourself, but note that beginners tend to get hunched over it, while you should keep your back straight. Greetings. Is the Half Bike adjustable? I am 191cm tall and not sure if the handlebars would be adequate at 116cm from the ground.

Hi Troy, The Haflbike is not adjustable, only foldable. We do have riders with your height that are happy with a size Large.

Hi, I'm considering buying my first halfbike. I'd prefer to buy used to save money. How do I know what size I should look for? I wish there was a size chart somewhere! And besides height of the handlebars, are there any other variables to look for? I understand springs come in hard or soft, but I'm not sure how I'd know which is which. I'm 69 in, 125 lbs. Thanks!

To answer my own question, partially, I can see from the spare parts store that above or below 187lbs is the difference between the two spring strengths.

Hi there, I'm 183cm and 90kg. What size of Half Bike would suit me? My partner is 190cm and around 90kg too. Would we be able to use the same Half Bike just for the start. Thank you.

Hi if I'm 5 ft 1in 140 lb and someone is 5 ft 9 169 lbs and wants to purchase my halfbike, would it work for them? Also, if not what is the height range for someone that is acceptable?
