Is half-bike good for trails or strictly smooth pavement?
So, I made the decision to get a half-bike! On it's way. So before even starting, I'm curious to know if this is something you can take on a trail that you would typically hike or mountain bike? In Florida, the trails are pretty flat, but you have a lot of tree roots, sand, grass in between the nice hard ground. For those of you that are more experienced, would you recommend sticking to only smooth pavement or can you learn to get more adventurous without causing injury to the bike down the road?
Hi Izzy,
The Halfbike is definitely a city child on feels best on roads and bike paths. An experienced rider can handle certain types of compressed gravel, but we wouldn't recommend going on mtn bike trails with it.
