Hi, just got my hb3 few days ago. just had a couple questions - when we change gears, does it work like a bicycle where you have to pedal to change them or can you change gears when the bike is not moving? also anyone has any wide, flat pedal recommendations? I saw that pedaling innnovations is a good one but it's too pricey to get it over here. Thinking about moto reflex but they seem kinda small. Thanks in advance!

Hi there, You can also change them while stationary. Just don't change and pedal, while riding with higher speeds - in that case, first you'll need to change the gear and resume pedaling afterwards. As to the pedals, you check our forum thread here and see what others have installed halfbikes.com/pimp-my-halfbike We know that quite a few riders are happy with the moto reflex ones.
