Drink holder

G’day Halfbikers. I have ordered my first Halfbike, expecting it to arrive in the next few days. I have been thinking about drink bottles and the best way to mount one on my Halfbike. I am very interested to see how other owners carry a drink bottle when riding. Thanks, Kirk

Welcome to the Halfbike family Kirk, On the picture you can see our ambasador Jimmy and his way of placing the bottle. :) We've also seen people put it on the side.

Thanks BO. I found Jimmy’s photos after I posted the message on the forum. I have also been watching his videos, very helpful! I saw one person screwed a drink bottle cage to the side of their stem, not sure how the manufacturers feel about screwing into the timber (not sure how I feel about it either, drilling holes into my brand new bike!) I do have another idea which I’ll try out, a non-destructive option. If it works out I’ll post some pictures. Cheers, Kirk

No problem Kirk :) We'd never recommend drilling into the Halfbike, since it might damage the structural integrity and create weak points. Do you know who that was, they might need some advice?

That’s exactly what I was thinking. My other idea involves Perspex and double sided tape. I’ll let you know how it goes.

And the person using screws? I think I saw it in a review on YouTube. I’ll see if I can find it again.
