Sorry to hear it hasn't worked out for you as you'd expect it to be.
It's true that the Halfbike takes some practice to master, but that's also part of the experience - you really build up confidence with riding more. Of course, it all depends from person to person, but I think that if you scale down a bit and start riding in more controlled areas like parking lots or empty streets you can surely build that confidence to start riding in more crowded areas. Of course, we always recommend using protective equipment, which also has the potential to boost your confidence in riding.
